Final Journey

I noticed this teaser on the Times website.

Judging by the ex Lord Chancellor's ambiguous comments on Today this morning, he may well be thinking of a particular candidate for assisted suicide.

I'm not so sure about the assisted suicide. 'Et tu brute' seems more appropriate to the ending of Pa Broon except of course that the deed seems to be mainly resting with women and possibly Alistair Darling. In Scottish politics, he who lives by the sword, dies by the knife.

You know, this would all be a lot quicker if they could run onto their swords in Roman fashion, as in the finale of Shakey's Caesar and so forth.

Mind you, I'd hate to be the poor sod who had to try and get all the blood out of the carpet. Swings and roundabouts, I suppose.

I see Mad Nad Dorries has gone all quiet about suicide watch.
