Common Purpose: a Credible Conspiracy?

This thought-provoking video is worth a look if you've any interest at all in conspiracy theories, Euroscepticism or the inner workings of Britain's political and quasi-political elite. Apparently they all belong to a cult-like organisation called Common Purpose. Quite long but worth sticking with.

I'm not quite sure what to make of it. Presenter Brian Gerrish presents some disquieting facts, though I'm not really convinced that our new masters actually want to kill us. There's little obvious lunacy. There are no Ickean lizards, or even Knights Templar, and it's not until near the end that someone brings up the Bilderburg Group.

You may not share the guy's conclusions, but I don't think the evidence he presents can be easily dismissed.

I think we have a responsibility to do some digging on this, for instance by putting in freedom of information requests at a local level

Absolute bollocks. I've known rebels like me who've been on these programmes - they're ten a penny - this one seems to be the most popular among public sector which is why Brian seems to be picking on it. The man is an obvious loon! I have my own conspiracy theories but this one is not only pretty poor - it's boring - and that's the worst crime when it comes to conspiracies!
Common Purpose is a corrupt and evil organisation and must be stopped: http://www.stopcp.com/

Hmmmm thousands of pounds for a Common Purpose course is NOT "10 a penny" Secondly claiming it is rubbish because the speaker is not endowed with bucketfulls of charisma is one of the weakest, most pathetic attempts at debunking a conspiracy I have ever read.

The man is a former Royal Navy Captain, he is a patriot and an officer. He is NOT a loon. He can back up his assertions with documentary evidence and witness testimony. You "anonymous" can do neither and will not even reveal your name.

Common Purpose are not a benevolent charity, they are a real and dangerous menace and a far far far bigger threat to the traditional British way of life than Al Qaeda for Common Purpose is destroying our way of life and we are to be extinguished, not with a bang, but with barely a whimper.

How Ironic is it that our Government lied to Parliament and the public about the necessity to go to war in Iraq, killing, injuring and displacing millions, in order to "protect our way of life" and yet they are infiltrated with an insidious cancer that is hell-bent on destroying it anyway!
